Alida has more than 20 years’ experience in Accounting especially in small business and personal tax. Alida qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2000 and is very passionate about accounting. Her aim in life is to help others and she uses her accounting skills to assist and help small business owners in managing their bookkeeping and finances.
Alida’s career started in South Africa where she worked at a medium tier firm and then later at one of the big 4. After qualified as CA she decided to sit on the “other side” of the table and worked in the commercial sector for 8 years. She gained great experience in financial management and reconciliations as well as system integrations.
From 2011 Alida’s focus shifted to small and medium sized firms with her biggest passion Family owned businesses. She helped these businesses in saving up to 200 hours per year in implementing new systems and procedures. She wants business owners to spend more time on things that they want to do and not what needs to be done like bookkeeping and tax.
